Our program provides a comprehensive knowledge of ESRD its nutrition management through readings, lectures, discussions and case studies. We also provide education materials on Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) and each stage of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).
Once the lectures and additional training is completed, you work alongside a dietitian in a dialysis facility, complete nutrition assessments and provide essential education to this population.
You will complete necessary ACEND competencies and gain the confidence and skills essential for successful professional practice in dietetics.
